Social Best empowers youth by nurturing relationship skills.

We give youth the tools and confidence to engage in any social setting.

Social Best empowers youth by nurturing relationship skills.

Through our activity-based approach they will gain independence and the confidence to engage with peers and adults in any social setting.

Our Mission

Every youth, whether they’re shy or outgoing, can find navigating new environments uncomfortable. Social Best’s creative role-play and group activities, informed by child development research, enable youth to learn practical, confidence-building social skills – from greeting adults and digital “etiquette” to respecting cultural differences. Social Best’s welcoming programs empower youth with invaluable life skills to grow their self-esteem and their ability to nurture positive relationships.

About

Social Best’s founder, Leen Al Zaibak, brings a powerful synthesis of personal and professional know-how to this empowering experience for youth. Leen’s humanitarian work — from refugee resettlement, education, women empowerment and civic engagement— serves as a powerful complement to her expertise for the Government of Ontario in the Office of International Relations and Protocol. This is in addition to her personal development she learned at the Institut Villa Pierrefeu, Switzerland’s renowned etiquette school. Leen’s ability to translate her social skills-building approach into fun, creative and age-appropriate activities is what makes Social Best such a success.

The Social Best Curriculum

Social Best’s curriculum, delivered in intimate groups of up to five children, ensures the optimum balance of personal attention and positive peer interactions. Here’s a sample of what youth will experience in the program.
